Since the release of

Tiger King

, a question has tormented the whole world: what has become of Don Lewis, the ex-husband of Carole Baskin who mysteriously disappeared in 1997?

Worse still, would the protector of the big cats be involved?

As police reopened the investigation following the success of Netflix's documentary series, another twist could reshuffle the cards.

Jeff Lowe, the ex-partner of Joe Exotic who took over the reins of Tiger King Park after the latter's incarceration, revealed that he had received an anonymous letter in May 2020 revealing the location of Don Lewis's remains.

"The body lies under His House" is it simply written on a blank sheet of paper signed The Faithful Witness, understand The Witness worthy of Faith.

The mystery thickens

Asked by TMZ, Jeff Lowe claims that the envelope did not contain anything other than the address of his park as well as a stamp proving that it had been posted in Providence, in the state of Rhode Island.

And strangely, the tiger lover has only just transmitted the letter to the authorities in Hillsborough County where Don Lewis has disappeared.

Why did you wait?

Jeff Lowe claims that the production of

Tiger King 2

asked him to keep it a secret and that he chose to reveal it now that filming was over.

Now he hopes the police will carry out DNA tests and fingerprints to find out who wrote the letter.

And who knows, maybe the mystery of Don Lewis's disappearance will be solved by the time the

Tiger King

sequel

airs,

for which no date has yet been announced.
