Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 16th that 66 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
He also announced that a man in his 80s in Nara City, who had been confirmed to be infected, had died.
A total of 7,307 people were confirmed infected in Nara Prefecture, and 98 people died.
