Institutions reluctant to take self-tests

Even before this blunder, school officials were reluctant to deal with the device.

"This will be complicated or even infeasible because we do not have sufficient voluntary staff, no feedback on the mediators mentioned by the minister and not enough premises", estimated the national secretary of the SNPDEN union Christel Boury, quoted by HuffPost .

The antigen test used in the high school and college screening program involves a shallower nasal swab than the PCR test.

The swab is in fact only 3 or 4 cm long.

The result is available at the latest 20 minutes after the sample.
