“I never planned my career,” says Sabine Bendiek.

And yet the previous head of Microsoft in Germany is now rising further.

This week it became known that she was moving to the board of the software and DAX group SAP.

There she becomes HR manager for around 100,000 employees.

Shortly before the change, Inga Michler spoke to her for the podcast “Die Macher”.

In all honesty: I never planned my career.

Many will now howl and ask: How can that be?

You have to plan that.

“Where do you see yourself in ten years?” That is also a popular question in job interviews.

I was always firmly convinced that the right challenges that inspire me would find me.
