Recently, Wang Mou, a man from Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, was seized and arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and driving without a license.

After completing the task of detaining Wang, the police of the First Squadron of Guyang Brigade, Baotou Traffic Management Detachment, learned that there was still a 6-year-old child in Wang’s home who was unattended and his wife had not heard from him for 3 years.

Because Wang raised the child alone, the grandparents of the child could not be contacted, and other relatives and friends were unwilling to help take care of him.

The police immediately went to Wang's home to pick up the child, and at the same time communicated and coordinated with the local Civil Affairs Bureau to carry out rescue.

When the police arrived at Wang's house, they saw the child looked ashamed, tired and hungry.

The police took the children back to the brigade, took care of daily life in every possible way, and decisively became temporary "dad" and "mother".

After multi-party coordination, Baotou City Minors Relief and Protection Center decided to adopt and take care of the child temporarily.

Before parting with the police, the child cried, and their temporary "dad" and "mother" also shed tears.

Now the child has been safely sent to Baotou City Minor Rescue and Protection Center.
