A plane makes an emergency landing on a highway in Poland

A light plane landed early this morning, on a highway near the town of Chistokhova in Poland, after the pilot noticed an engine failure.

The 34-year-old pilot had taken off from Wrocوافaw, western Poland, and was heading east to ashov, but after discovering the malfunction, he headed for an emergency landing at the airstrip of the Flying Club in the city of Czstochowa.

However, while flying the plane, the pilot noticed a long stretch on the A1 highway and decided it was safer to land and landed on the road, according to TVN24, quoting a local police officer.

No one was injured in the accident. The channel reported that the light aircraft will be towed away to a maintenance workshop.
