On May 14, the monitoring equipment in the Kurku River area of ​​the Nanweng River Wetland in Heilongjiang, the "Northern Wetland in China", first photographed a wolf. This is the first trace of a wolf found in this area in 22 years.

  The Nanweng River Wetland is located in Songling District in the eastern part of the Greater Xing'an Mountains, the northernmost part of China, with a total area of ​​229,000 hectares. There are 12 large and small rivers in the wetland. It is the main source of Nen River and water conservation area.

  Relevant experts said that the forest wetland in the core area and buffer zone of the Nanweng River Nature Reserve is still in its original state and is an ideal habitat for wolves, providing it with abundant food resources.

The detection of wolves this time has added new members to the biological species in the Nanweng River Nature Reserve.
