Governor Nakamura requested that restaurants in Nagasaki City be shortened to 8:00 pm from 28th last month, but the number of newly infected people in the prefecture announced on 4th this month was 62. The spread of the infection continued, with more than 60 people, the highest number in the third wave.
For this reason, Governor Nakamura held an extraordinary press conference on the 7th of this month, issued a prefecture-specific "state of emergency" to Nagasaki City, and told the government as early as this week to prevent the spread.
