It is suspected that a man who was a student of Kurume University School of Medicine in Fukuoka Prefecture repeatedly invaded and stole a female university student's home etc. by making a duplicate key based on the serial number written on the key. I found out by interviewing the investigators.

If the serial number is known, a duplicate key may be created, and police are urging people not to easily show the key to others.

Shogo Sakagami, a 36-year-old student at Kurume University School of Medicine, was arrested on suspicion of invading his residence in January, alleging that he had invaded the apartment of a 23-year-old female university student living in Kurume City. It was.

According to the investigators, Sakagami stole the serial number written on the key of the female university student's home and made a duplicate key based on this number.

Furthermore, according to an interview with an investigative official, it was found that there was a suspicion that he had repeatedly committed more than 100 crimes such as invading the homes of about 10 women living alone and stealing their underwear using the same method.

It means that he was stealing the serial number of the key when baggage was placed in a shared space due to club activities.

Sakagami admitted the charges by stating, "I wanted to see the private life of women and the parts that I couldn't show to others," in response to police investigations so far.

According to industry groups, if the serial number of the key is known, there is a risk that a duplicate key can be created without the original key, so the police can easily give the key to others by placing it in a conspicuous place. I'm calling you not to show it.
