Vaccination open to all this Monday

Everyone over 50 will be able to be vaccinated from Monday May 10, instead of May 15, and the doses available at the end of the day will be open to everyone the following day "without age limit" from May 12 .

Vaccination is now also open to minors aged 16 and 17 suffering from certain diseases which put them at "very high risk of severe form".

The number of patients in sheaves drops below 5,000 in France

The number of Covid-19 patients identified in intensive care services continued to decline on Sunday, falling below the 5,000 mark.

116 new deaths were recorded on Sunday, bringing the total number of Covid deaths in France to 106,421 since the start of the pandemic.

This indicator, monitored very closely by the health authorities, is slowly moving away from the bar of 6,000 patients exceeded on April 26 and the alarming peak of the first wave of spring 2020 (about 7,000 patients).

Lifting restrictions in sight in UK

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will confirm on Monday the easing of restrictions linked to the pandemic caused by the coronavirus, based on the improvement in the health situation, his services announced on Sunday.

The conservative leader will make public the third stage of his deconfinement roadmap on Monday afternoon.

This new step will take effect on May 17, when certain restrictions on foreign travel are also eased.
