Sad weather this Monday, the weather will be windy and rainy over a large part of the country.
Orange rain-flooding vigilance is underway in the departments of Ain, Ardèche, Haute-Loire, Loire and Rhône.
After a restless and stormy night, the weather will not improve for Monday in Languedoc, on the east of Auvergne, Franche-Comté, Rhône-Alpes and PACA.
The sky will remain very gray with sustained rains locally accompanied by thunderstorms, especially in the morning.
The cumulative rainfall, recorded at the end of the episode, will be significant over these regions, especially the Cévennes.
Finally, the south-easterly wind will be very present in the mountains, in the Rhône valley and in the pre-Alps, which will have the effect of creating foehn in the east of Savoy where little precipitation will be recorded.
Minimum temperatures will drop to 8 degrees
The wind will gradually weaken in the afternoon.
The showers will also be of interest to Burgundy, Lorraine and Alsace, but the rainy activity will be less important there.
Corsica will stay clear of the disturbed weather with only cloudy periods.
Elsewhere, the day promises to be unstable with showers and - very locally - a thunderclap.
However, the showers will be more frequent in Occitania and the Basque Country, in the afternoon, with moderate winds on the terrain.
Minimum temperatures will drop to 8 and 13 degrees, down to 15 to 16 on the Mediterranean shores and even 16 to 18 in Balagne.
The maximum will go from 14 to 18 in Brittany, 17 and 21 degrees on the rest of the country, up to 24-25 on the coasts of Corsica.
