Lady Gaga has never left her dogs with one sole since she found them.
The animals were abducted last February and their walker, Ryan Fisher, had been shot several times in the chest.
He had to undergo partial lung removal to get by.
“Lady Gaga is just so happy to have found her dogs.
They are like children to her.
She's just very careful with everything that touches them and she's extremely protective of them, ”a loved one told Entertainment Tonight.
Serious accusations
Last week, police arrested five people suspected of participating in the kidnapping of Lady Gaga's dogs. The kidnappers had managed to seize Koji and Gustav, two French bulldogs, after having shot and wounded Ryan Fischer, their walker. According to the first elements of the investigation, the kidnappers did not know the identity of the owner of the animals but had only targeted them for the value of their breed on the black market.
Indicted, the defendants have pleaded not guilty to the charges of theft and attempted murder.
“It was a blatant street crime that left a man seriously injured.
We have advanced very serious charges in this case and we are sure that justice will be done in an appropriate way when this case is presented to the court ”, declared the prosecutor in charge of the case.
The defendants must return to court on May 11.
