On May 9, the sky over Bijie City, Guizhou Province suddenly became densely covered with dark clouds. There was a pouring rain around 17:00. The rain was mixed with hail and strong winds, and many areas were flooded.
Affected by heavy rainfall, all buses in Bijie City were temporarily suspended, and the recovery time is yet to be determined.
At 17:58, the Bijie City Meteorological Observatory issued an orange rainstorm warning signal. It is expected that the rainfall in some areas of Bijie City, Qixingguan, Dafang and Jinsha will exceed 50 mm.
