During the vaccination campaign in a large Cologne mosque, the rush was also great on Sunday.

Vaccination doctor Nora Bertenburg said that the first person to be vaccinated reported waiting in front of the building at around 4 a.m.

Around 1450 people had already been vaccinated on Saturday, and around 1110 more vaccine doses were available on Sunday.

With the action in the mosque, the aim was to reach people who might not have found their way to a vaccination center, said the doctor.

That worked out very well.

Citizens can be vaccinated in the Ditib Central Mosque without booking an appointment.

The action is not limited to members of the Muslim community, but is open to everyone.

Up to 3000 people willing to be vaccinated at the “AstraZeneca Vaccination Day” in Freiburg

An “AstraZeneca vaccination day” for all adults without an appointment also attracted thousands of people to the Freiburg trade fair.

By six o'clock, 1,000 people were already there, some with mobile homes, some with camping chairs.

A total of 2,000 to 3,000 mostly young people turned up, the police said.

The number of additional doses of the vaccine, which is now available without a fixed priority list, was only 1,400.

The originally planned sporadic passing by the officers grew in view of the masses of police operations, in which verbal conflicts between the waiting people, for example because of pushing ahead or being too close to each other, were settled.

Since the vaccination operations with other substances continued at the same time, traffic also had to be regulated.

The amount was broken down by time windows for their respective vaccinations.

After three hours, the police completed their operation.

The action is remarkable because only recently it was said that all adults could get AstraZeneca vaccination from their doctor if there was nothing to be said against it from a medical point of view.

The country's centers should only receive as many doses as are necessary for the respective second vaccinations in one week.

There are, in some cases, considerable reservations about the preparation of the British-Swedish pharmaceutical company. It is only recommended for people over the age of 60 after blood clots have appeared in the brain in younger people who have been vaccinated. On the other hand, there are many young people who would like to be vaccinated with it, but have not yet been given the vaccination sequence.
