On May 6, 2021 local time, in Warsaw, Poland, a new member was added to the Warsaw Zoo, a newborn mountain purple antelope cub.
The little guy has been nestling next to his mother, shy and cute.
Purple antelope is the largest species of African forest antelope, mainly living in the dense jungles of Africa.
The eastern subspecies of mountain purple gazelle only lives in remote areas of central Kenya. Because of its scarcity, it is listed as a critically endangered species on the "Red List" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
