The Hongyuan Prairie is located in Sichuan Province, the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the snow-capped grassland in northwest Sichuan, and the central part of the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture.
The Hongyuan prairie has a vast area, unique natural landscape and rich resources, and is known as the "golden and silver beach" on the plateau.
