Yamaguchi Prefecture announced that it has been confirmed that a total of 25 men and women under the age of 10 to 90s living in Hofu City and Iwakuni City are infected with the new coronavirus.
Shimonoseki City also announced that it has been confirmed that a total of six people in their 20s and 60s living in the city are infected with the new coronavirus.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Yamaguchi Prefecture to 1982.
