France 3 Center-Val de Loire had refused a documentary on the festivals commemorating Joan of Arc.

It was Pascal Praud, the presenter, who had quoted him on several occasions, without giving him the floor, in a sequence of the program evoking the refusal of France 3 Center-Val de Loire to broadcast a documentary.

Controversy of the documentary on Joan of Arc

The documentary in question, which France 3 Center-Val de Loire had a time scheduled to broadcast, focused on the festivals held each year in Orleans to commemorate Joan of Arc.

The film had been financed by the city and finally refused by France 3. "Several elements suggest that this program will be a product too politicized", explained the chain in a letter addressed to the town hall.
