Quebec director Lyne Charlebois continues to sue former Quebec humor mogul Gilbert Rozon for alleged rape dating back to 1982. 

Gilbert Rozon allegedly raped the director when she was 24 years old.

Lyne Charlebois, who was a photographer, explains having met the producer in order to work with him.

Gilbert Rozon would have dined with the young woman and her companion at their home.

He would then have proposed to Lyne Charlebois to go have a drink and would have invited her to come to his place, where he would have raped her.

An "aggression which profoundly altered the course of his life"

And for nearly forty years, she "has suffered the aftermath of this aggression which has profoundly altered the course of her life", argue her lawyers at Trudel Johnston & Lespérance.

"Lyne Charlebois therefore claims $ 700,000 in compensatory damages from her, as well as $ 1 million in punitive damages for the sexual assault" that she allegedly suffered in 1982, her lawyers said through a communicated.

"I will not comment on the legal proceedings at this time," Gilbert Rozon, 66, said in a statement quoted by Radio-Canada.
