Seismologists have registered a 4.7 magnitude earthquake in the ocean off the southeastern coast of Kamchatka. This is reported by the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
As noted, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 203 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
The earthquake source was located at a depth of 15 km.
Earlier it was reported that four earthquakes with a magnitude of up to 4.2 occurred on the night of Wednesday, May 5, in the Pacific Ocean.
