"Over the past day, May 6, 136 forest fires were liquidated in Russia on an area of 2582 hectares," RIA Novosti quoted the message.
It is noted that the largest area of fires was recorded in the Tyumen region - 5165 hectares.
Earlier it became known that the fire safety in Moscow from May 1 will be monitored by helicopters.
