In a critical moment, Peng Feng, director of the Huanglong Police Station of Zhangwan Branch of Shiyan City Public Security Bureau, and Ke Yong, the auxiliary policeman, jumped into the water and rescued the drowning boy ashore with the help of colleagues, fire rescue personnel and the people on the scene.
Due to the timely rescue, although the young man suffered a lumbar spine fracture, he was no longer life-threatening and was being treated in the hospital.
