Serbia: $ 30 for every citizen who receives the Corona vaccine

Serbia intends to pay some money to encourage its citizens to receive the Covid-19 vaccine in an attempt to overcome the suspicion prevailing among them.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced in Belgrade on Wednesday that everyone who has already been vaccinated, or receives a dose by May 31, will receive a one-time allowance of 3,000 dinars (30 dinars).

The average monthly income per capita in Serbia is 624.

Vucic said imposing discriminatory restrictions on people who did not want to get the vaccine was out of the question.

The president explained to the private government-affiliated "Pink" TV channel that refusing to be vaccinated is "irresponsible and selfish."

He added, "This is the reason why we are looking for a reward for those who have shown responsibility."

About 30 percent of the Serbian population has received at least one dose of the Corona vaccine.

And Serbia, which is located in southern Europe, has been using vaccines from Russia and China since December, which have not been approved in the European Union
