Investigators have raided a suspected right-wing extremist organization with raids in four federal states.

Objects in Bavaria, Thuringia, Lower Saxony and Baden-Württemberg have been searched since the early hours of the morning, as a spokesman for the Federal Prosecutor's Office in Karlsruhe said on Thursday.

Suspects are a woman and three men.

The suspects are also said to have connections to the so-called group S.

There were no arrests during the searches on Thursday.

First the "Spiegel" reported.

According to the Federal Prosecutor's Office, it is an initial suspicion of membership in a right-wing terrorist association.

The search measures should be used to check whether this initial suspicion can be corroborated, said the spokesman.

According to the Federal Prosecutor's office, the group is said to have called itself "The Hard Core" and was founded in September 2019.

The suspect woman is said to have assumed an "outstanding position" in the group.

Although the group had plans of action, these were not as specific as was the case with the so-called group S.

The knowledge about the “hard core” is not a matter of “completely new knowledge”.

The investigations were to be seen in connection with the action against the group S., said the spokesman.

Currently trial in Stuttgart

The so-called group S. is also said to have been founded in September 2019.

According to the Federal Prosecutor's Office, the eight founding members are said to have pursued the goal of “shaking and ultimately overcoming the state and social order of the Federal Republic of Germany with their union”.

There is currently a trial in front of the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court against twelve men for training and supporting a right-wing terrorist organization.
