Ishikawa Prefecture has requested the government to apply "priority measures such as prevention of spread" to Kanazawa City as the target area because the spread of the new coronavirus cannot be stopped.

Ishikawa Prefecture held a meeting of the countermeasures headquarters for the new coronavirus on the afternoon of the 6th, and it was reported that the spread of infection in the prefecture did not stop due to a series of newly infected people during the Golden Week holidays.



At the meeting, it was decided to postpone the event sponsored by the prefecture by issuing the "Ishikawa State of Emergency" until the 25th of this month because of concerns about the medical crisis.



In addition, Governor Tanimoto of Ishikawa Prefecture made it clear that he requested the government to apply "priority measures such as prevention of spread" to Kanazawa City as a target area.



Ishikawa Prefecture has already requested that restaurants throughout the prefecture, including karaoke shops and bars, be open until 9 pm until the 11th of this month.



In Ishikawa Prefecture, in response to the request for "priority measures such as prevention of spread", the business hours of restaurants in Kanazawa City will be advanced by one hour to 8:00 pm, and alcoholic beverages will be served by 7:00 pm. It is a policy to seek.



In addition, other local governments in the prefecture have decided to extend the period of time reduction request by another two weeks under the same conditions as the current one.
