In the early morning of May 4, during a routine patrol at the Zhonglugang Haiphong Police Station of the Tinghu Branch of the Public Security Bureau of Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, a demented elderly man was found lying on the roadside of the southern gate of the local red-crowned crane wetland eco-tourism area.

The old man was huddled outside the door because of his thin clothes and exhaustion.

After a brief questioning by the police, the old man only remembered his name and from Shandong Province, and the rest of the information could not be accurately expressed.

Back at the police station, the police found a note with the name and phone number on the old man.

That night, after contacting him, the old man's son finally arrived from Nantong.

The old man’s son told the police that the old man is 70 years old and suffers from dementia.

At around 9 o'clock in the morning on April 30, the old man rode out alone and never returned. The family looked around and found no results. Only when he received a call that day that the old man was safe, he was completely relieved.
