  This is also the first time that the number of new cases in a single day has exceeded 8,000 since the outbreak of the epidemic in Nepal.

It is worth noting that this number is the result obtained after testing 20,756 samples.

In other words, the test diagnosis rate in Nepal that day was 41.46%.

  The Kathmandu Valley added 4,825 confirmed cases that day, accounting for more than half of the number of new cases in the country that day.

  At the same time, Nepal has added 58 new deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing a total of 3475 cases.

This is the day with the highest number of new deaths in a single day since the outbreak in Nepal.

  That day was also the second consecutive day in Nepal for the number of new confirmed cases and the number of new deaths in a single day.
