According to figures published by Public Health France on Wednesday, the number of Covid-19 patients in intensive care services continues to decline slowly, as does that of all those hospitalized.

Critical care services (which combine resuscitation, intensive care and continuous monitoring) had 5,402 patients against 5,504 on Tuesday and 5,630 on Monday.

Some 2,000 Covid patients in hospital in less in a week

This is the lowest figure since April 5, when 5,433 patients were counted in these services welcoming the most serious cases.

We are thus moving away from the 6,000 mark and the alarming peak of the first wave of April 2020 (around 7,000).
