On the 4th, a total of three people, a man from Kanazawa and two children from elementary school, went on a day trip to the mountain that straddles Kanazawa and Nanto, Toyama Prefecture, and have lost their whereabouts.

Police and fire departments will resume the search on the morning of the 5th.

The missing people are a man in his 40s in Kanazawa, and three elementary school students, a 10-year-old son and an 8-year-old daughter.



According to the police, a total of six men from the family started climbing Mt. Iozen, which straddles Kanazawa and Nanto, on a day trip from around noon on the 4th.



The man's wife and five-year-old son stopped climbing on the way, but the man, two children, and four of his wife's mother in her 60s climbed to a place called Tobiiwa, and then the mother told her wife, "Descent. I got lost on the way, "he said on his mobile phone.



The mother was rescued by a fire department near Tobiiwa at about 8:30 last night, but three men and two children were not found, and police and fire departments stopped the search at 0:30 am.



I will search the area around the site again from around 6:30 on the 5th.



Iozen has an altitude of 939 meters even at the highest point, and there are multiple mountain climbing courses for families to enjoy.
