In Chad, the composition of the transitional government was announced Sunday evening.
It includes 40 ministers, overwhelmingly linked to the late President Idriss Déby Itno, but also some opponents.
The most notable entry is that of Mahamat Ahmat Alhabo, secretary general of the PLD, who becomes Minister of Justice.
If he has accepted to play the game of the government of unity, he is nevertheless very critical of the composition of this team and, more generally, at the start of the Transition.
The new Minister of Justice promises in particular investigations into those killed or arrested during the demonstrations which followed the installation of the Transitional Military Council. Mahamat Ahmat Alhabo answers questions from David Baché, special envoy to Ndjamena.
