Four earthquakes with a magnitude of up to 4.2 occurred on the night of Wednesday, May 5, in the Pacific Ocean. This is reported by the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
According to the service, three of them were recorded in the area of Kamchatka and Kronotsky bays, one, the strongest, in the area of the Western Aleutian Islands.
Its epicenter was at a depth of 33 km.
Earlier, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 occurred off the coast of Kamchatka.
