Emirates Literature allows a session of Amin Maalouf for the public

The Emirates Literature Foundation yesterday launched the plenary and recorded session with the participation of writer and thinker Amin Maalouf, during his participation in the last session of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature.

Maalouf's session at the festival is a tributary to his recent book "The Drift: How Our World Has Strayed Its Way", in which it deals with pressing issues such as global warming, globalization and digitalization.

The session is available in English on the Emirates Literature Foundation's YouTube channel, with Arabic translation available.

The director of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, Ahlam Blocky, expressed her happiness at making the session available to the public, adding: “We are truly pleased to continue our endeavors to provide literary and cultural dialogues to a greater number of our local, Arab and international audiences. In our times, we are in dire need of such dialogues and seminars more than any time ago".

Amin Maalouf's session comes at the forefront of a series of sessions of local and international writers, writers and thinkers, which will be provided by the Emirates Literature Foundation, respectively.
