There is "no risk" to their health, but they are less protected against Covid-19 than they thought.

In a statement, the vaccination center of Saint-Céré, in the Lot, confirms that people welcomed to the site on April 21 are "likely to have received an insufficient dose of Pfizer vaccine".

The quack, probably due to human error, concerns 91 patients of the 238 vaccinated in Saint-Céré that day, those in the afternoon.

Called back for a blood test

And for them, the logical consequence is therefore to present "a non-optimal vaccine coverage against Covid-19".

As a precautionary measure, and in agreement with the health authorities, the vaccination center is organizing a reminder of these patients "to invite them to carry out a vaccine serology, via a blood test which makes it possible to precisely measure the concentration of antibodies".

Depending on the results, a new injection will be offered to some patients.

The people concerned normally received a phone call, coupled with a letter, to explain the situation to them.

Finally, the vaccination center ensures that "the necessary measures have been taken to ensure that this type of error does not occur in the future".
