The honor of the fasting person is with his Lord

The fasting person has a good condition with his Lord that no one else can attain, as mentioned in the hadith Qudsi: “All the work of the son of Adam is his, except fasting, for it is mine and I will be rewarded with it.” So all the deeds of the son of Adam include prayer, zakat, Hajj, righteousness, charity, reading the Qur’an and remembrance, and so on, He has a known reward, which the worshiper may teach him if he is most sincere in it, and his Lord, glory be to Him, accepts him, for God Almighty rewards him with ten times as much to seven hundred times, and these good deeds are doubled in Ramadan, so the obligation in it is like seventy duties in other matters, and the obligatory in it is the same as the obligation in others.

Fasting is patience for obedience, and patience with the pains of hunger, thirst and people's desires.

As for fasting, it has another status that differs from the status of other acts of worship, so its reward is withheld from observing the angels who write, in addition to the worshiper himself. Because this fasting is a secret between the servant and his Lord, so the angels who wrote it did not see it, nor did they write it in their papers, and what was like that was his reward in His hands, a reward worthy of his generosity and his wish for his servant, without being counted nor counting again, as the Glory said about the patient: {It is indeed Those who are patient pay their wages without reckoning.

Fasting is patience for obedience, patience with the pains of hunger, thirst and people's desires, and patience for the harm that may be from others, as it does not exceed his saying: “I am a man who is fasting.” Therefore, the reward for the fasting person was without being counted, not counting a writer, nor in the pages of the book, On top of that, the Glory be to Him, it is not possible for those who are fasting to be entrusted with his good deeds on the day that the reward is due to good deeds and bad deeds, on the day that the weight is paid in installments, then nothing is wronged by the soul, and if the weight of a grain of mustard is, as the Almighty said: And if it is the weight of a grain of mustard that we brought it, and it is sufficient for us to calculate).

For that fasting person whose merits may have been exhausted in fulfilling the rights, or bearing their sins, then he remains for him the hidden work that he can deliver with his Lord, and wins his paradise and his approval, and it is the fasting that the desires of the soul and the desires of the soul are prevented from it, while he watches his Lord Almighty, so he is a saving for whom Deposits are not lost with him, and he is the Almighty God who said: {For those who believe and do righteousness, we do not waste the wages of those who do the best deeds. And there the fasting person will be happy with this secret that his Lord, may He be glorified, entrusted, as he said, may blessings and peace be upon him: “The fasting person has two joys: if he breaks the fast, he will rejoice in his fasting, and if he meets his Lord, he will rejoice in his fasting.” He will rejoice in his fast that he saved for himself and no one else participated in it, as the modern scholars said, may God Almighty have mercy on them. .

It is not surprising that fasting with our Lord, glory be to Him, is this rewarding, for he is the one who rejoices in the fasting of those who fast, so that the mouth of the fasting person is better than the musk smell, as the beloved, the Chosen One, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family and companions swore by saying: «And by whom Muhammad breathed in his hand For the fear of the mouth of the fasting person is better to God than the scent of musk », it is better with God;

Because it is the effect of worship, just as the blood of the martyr was the color of blood, and its scent was the scent of musk.

It is also not surprising that the fasting person has this reward with his Lord, for he was likened to the angels of God, who do not eat, drink, or disobey their Lord, and do what they are commanded, and whoever imitates a people is among them, so he is the angels of worship with this fasting, so his reward will be the reward of the honorable angels.

Not surprisingly, also, his fasting was a refinement of himself and his instincts, and promoted him to the ranks of the righteous, for whom God prepared gardens and reveled in the seat of truth with Malik Muqtadir.

It is also not surprising that it is of this status, so we informed him, may blessings and peace be upon him, that: “Whoever fasts a day for the sake of God, God will keep his face away from Hell for seventy autumns.” The meaning is that he does not approach Hellfire and does not hover around it under any circumstances. Fasting the imposition!

This is the state of the fasting person according to the one who honored him with this worship, approved it, and helped him in it, for it is a respect from God to the one of his servants loved him, and as His Majesty said: (God wants to clarify to you and guide you to the years of those who came before you.)

Oh God, make us fasting for you, for you standing, for you two mourners, for you two penitents, and accept from us, O Most Merciful.
