Pierre Perret is preparing for next fall his tour "My Provisional Farewell", which accompanies his double album of the same name, released in February.

Thursday, the singer is the guest of the show "It feels good", where he remembers the tumultuous Rolling Stones concert in 1964 at the Olympia, where he played in the first part.

In his own way, Pierre Perret is also a rock'n'roll grandpa, like Keith Richards and Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones.

The French singer even made the first part of the English group during a concert to say the least agitated at the Olympia, in 1964. Pierre Perret remembers this moment Thursday at the microphone of Anne Roumanoff in the program

Ça fait du well

, where he presents his double album

My Provisional Farewells

, before a tour scheduled for the fall.

At the time, the public had to wait several rounds of singing from young artists before listening to the star they came to see.

Which was not to the taste of the French Rolling Stones fans.

"It was hellish," remembers Pierre Perret, who sees several singers wipe plasters without a hostile audience.

"But who is this fucking French rocker?"

"When I arrived, there was Bruno Coquatrix, the boss of the room and Lucien Morisse, the former boss of your radio station, who held me by the shoulders and pushed me by saying 'Come on Pierre, a little courage. You have to manage to make a song '", laughs the singer on Europe 1." But everyone before was fired! "

"The presenter no longer dared to present. He was speaking behind the closed curtain," recalls Pierre Perret.

His turn comes, however, and the artist runs on stage to reach his stool and begin his song of the time:

Girls that will kill me

.

But, as soon as the song has started, he suffers from a blackout.

Fortunately for him, his title then passes a lot on young radio stations.

"The whole room was kids, black jackets as they said", comments Pierre Perret.

"And all these kids took over the lyrics to the song, one shouted 'Go on Pierrot!', I almost passed out."

The young singer finally manages to play not one, but five songs.

At the end, the room rises to applaud him.

A success in the chaos which did not fail to challenge the stars of the evening, the Rolling Stones.

"Mick Jagger asked 'Who the fuck is this French rocker?'" Recalls a hilarious Pierre Perret.

"And French rock was my apple!"
