'The clear things' has the hours counted on TVE.

This is confirmed by sources from TVE to EL MUNDO after the first intervention of the new president of the corporation,

José Manuel Pérez Tornero

, in the mixed commission of the Congress of Deputies in which he has assured that "the infoshow" has no place on television public.

"The journalism that

TVE should do is public, valuable, inform in depth

. Everything that is trivialization, show and scandal should not be anywhere on RTVE," he said without mentioning specific programs.

But the use of the expression "infoshow" put the focus on the political morning that Jesús Cintora is currently presenting.

"It is a general feeling of all the professionals in the house that

quality journalism is worth it and banal journalism is not worth it, especially

on public television," said Pérez Tornero.

In fact, several recognized names of the entity such as Marc Sala, Xabier Fortes or Carlos Franganillo had already shown their reluctance to the format.

The latest criticism came when a reporter for Las Cosas Clara

persecuted former President Mariano Rajoy the day before Gurtel's trial

.

"This is inappropriate for TVE," protested Sala.

And, in case there were doubts about where the new president's speech was focused, Pérez Tornero has deepened that

the public should prioritize "internal production"

at a time when the Budget will be "austere, in line with the framework mandate."

The decision has been made within TVE, as this newspaper has learned, but it is

yet to be determined when the end of the political gathering will take place

.

"The president has been clear, there will be no infotainment programs," say the sources consulted
