The Egyptian actress, Wafa Makki, cries out for help to the Ministry of Health after she was infected with Corona

The Egyptian actress, Wafaa Makki, who was released months ago from prison, appealed to the Ministry of Health after her health condition deteriorated due to her infection with the Coronavirus.

Makki was released from prison after spending years behind bars, convicted of the torture and detention of two maids in 2001.

The artist said in a press statement that she contracted the Coronavirus 10 days ago and began receiving treatment, but her health did not see any improvement, and it became from bad to worse.


Makki appealed to the Ministry of Health to transfer her to a hospital, and revealed that she had contacted the doctor, explained her condition to him, and wrote her treatment, explaining that despite her persistence with treatment, the symptoms became worse and she could not breathe.

Makki had said earlier that she plans to return to her work again, as she has received offers to participate in a number of artworks.
