Shizuoka Prefecture and others have announced that 55 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It is the first time since the 10th of last month that the number of infected people per day has reached 50 or more.
A total of 6436 people have been confirmed to be infected in Shizuoka Prefecture.
