Okayama Prefecture announced that 30 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
The breakdown is 19 in Maniwa City, 5 in Soja City, 2 in Tamano City, and 1 in Setouchi City, Tsuyama City, Takahashi City, and Kibichuo Town.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the prefecture to 3803.
The prefecture also announced that one patient living in the prefecture had died.
A total of 41 people have died in the prefecture.
In addition, Kurashiki City announced that 26 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the prefecture to 3829.
