Nagasaki Prefecture and others have announced that a total of 27 people in the prefecture have been newly confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 2057 people have been confirmed to be infected in Nagasaki Prefecture, excluding the crew of the cruise ship moored at Nagasaki Port.
Nagasaki Prefecture also announced that a man in his 80s in Isahaya City, who had been confirmed to be infected and was being treated in the hospital, died on the 27th.
This brings the number of infected people who died in Nagasaki Prefecture to 41.
