Nick Cave pays tribute to his longtime collaborator and friend Anita Lane

Nick Cave paid a heartwarming tribute to Anita Lane, whom he had met in the late 1970s. The singer and songwriter had worked with him on songs for his first band, The Birthday Party, and later became a member of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and had written songs with him such as

From Her to Eternity

,

A Dead Song

,

Kiss Me Back

,

Dead John

, and

Stranger Than Kindness

.

"You think you know mourning, you think you know its mechanics, you think you have hardened yourself - stronger, wiser, more resilient - you think that nothing will be able to reach you in this world, and then Anita dies", a he wrote in particular, as relayed by the NME.

Anita Lane was 61 years old.

If you're nostalgic for the 2000s, rejoice, because Razorlight has returned to its original line-up after a decade of dormancy.

Johnny Borrel, Andy Burrows, Björn Ågren and Carl Dalemo will perform a livestream concert on June 2, as they announced on Twitter.

Those who were successful from their first album,
