Since Saturday, all passengers from Brazil, India, Chile, South Africa, Argentina, but also Guyana, have been subject to a 10-day quarantine decided by decree prefectural, and whatever the result of their test, positive or negative on arrival in France.

A fine between 1,000 to 1,500 euros

The latter must justify on their arrival a PCR test of less than 36 hours and are systematically tested again by an antigen test.

According to figures from Beauvau, arrested on Tuesday evening, 1,888 people were given a quarantine order, all airports combined, including 26 who tested positive for Covid-19.

Apart from permission to leave between 10 a.m. and noon, the persons concerned may be subject to an unexpected check by the police and gendarmes. In the event of absence, the fine incurred is 1,000 to 1,500 euros against 135 euros currently for other passengers from countries outside the European Union who would not remain confined for seven days upon their arrival on French soil.
