If the corona measures allow it, the Amsterdam Music Festival (AMF) will take place again physically this year.

Afrojack, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren and Tiësto, among others, will perform in the Johan Cruijff ArenA on October 16, the organization announced on Thursday.

AMF is normally the largest public event during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).

Also this year, the DJ Mag Top 100 will be unveiled and the corresponding award for the best DJ in the world will be presented.

Last year ADE and the festival took place digitally because of the corona pandemic.

Organizers ALDA and Insomniac are confident that AMF can be held with public this year.

"We keep a close eye on the latest developments and will do everything we can to organize the event safely," said Allan Hardenberg, founder and director of festival organizer and promoter ALDA.

Ticket sales for the festival start on Monday.
