INTERVIEW

How to be a comedian and continue to exercise his profession, despite closed auditoriums to avoid the spread of Covid-19?

Redouanne Harjane found a solution: to perform in the street, without warning anyone to avoid crowds, and to post the result (the Street stand up videos) on YouTube and social networks.

Came Wednesday to present this initiative in the show

"The women get slammed"

Redouanne Harjane will however also soon be performing abroad.

He will be on stage on June 11 in Geneva.

“The theaters are open, but I'm not going to do like the other comedians who went to play in Dubai or Yemen… It's surreal, it's crazy!” He wonders. , referring without citing them to his colleagues Fary, Redouane Bougheraba, Az and Djimo, in particular.

Because, for the street comedian, there is a big difference between Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates: respect for human rights.

"These are countries where there are zero rights. Women are slapped, everyone is slapped," recalls Redaounne Harjane.

"There are no rights and people are going to play there like 'Yeah, that's freedom!'."

Dubai, kingdom of influencers

It must be said that Dubai has seen an increase in its popularity in recent months.

The Emirati city emerging from the desert is indeed welcoming more and more French influencers, former reality TV candidates who have come to enjoy the sun and the very light tax regime.
