In a new season, the entertainment program "The Old Market" will appear in Khor Fakkan. The Eastern Channel from Kalba, affiliated to the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority, will appear as part of its program for the blessed month of Ramadan.

The program, which is based on culture, heritage and information, as a hub for competition and prize-winning, comes in a manner of presentation that differs from the traditional competition programs, as the presenter of the program, Omar Ahmed, wanders in the old market accompanied by Khamis Ahmad Al-Naqbi and Khalifa Muhammad Al-Sahi, and poses the question to the visitors of the market, so one of the two gives an answer Wrong, while the other gives the correct answer, and the contestant must choose.

The program - produced by Noura Obeid and directed by Uday Tahboub - explores the culture of market visitors in various cultural, literary and cognitive fields, and sheds light, through the questions posed, on the aesthetics of the eastern region from natural, tourist and historical places to heritage, customs, traditions and handicrafts, through popular proverbs and sayings in The region, where winners receive prizes that include vouchers and cash prizes.
