Okinawa Prefecture announced on the 28th that it was confirmed that 63 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
The number of new cases announced on the 1st is below the same day of the previous week for 9 consecutive days.
This brings the total number of infected people confirmed in the prefecture to 12,328.
