Ibaraki Prefecture and Mito City announced on the 28th that they have confirmed 70 new infections with the new coronavirus.
A total of 8040 people have been confirmed infected in the prefecture.
On the other hand, Ibaraki Prefecture announced that two of the confirmed infections had been infected with the mutated coronavirus by the 28th, bringing the total to 209.
