At least three dead and twenty gunshot wounds, this is the provisional toll of the demonstrations that took place this Tuesday morning in Chad.

Members of the opposition and civil society called for mobilization to protest against the establishment of a transitional military council.

The appointment of Albert Pahimi Padacké to the post of Prime Minister has not allowed the disputes to be appeased.

Tires burned, tear gas, the streets of the capital were taken by storm.

Decryption with Paul-Simon Handy, researcher at the Dakar Institute for Security Studies.
