[Commentary] On April 26, the reporter learned from the Beijing Police's Press Conference on Severely Cracking Down on Intellectual Property Infringement Crimes in accordance with the law. Since 2020, Beijing police have cracked more than 600 criminal cases of intellectual property infringement.

Based on the situation of cases investigated by the Beijing police in the past four years, trademark infringement crimes are the most prominent among intellectual property crimes, accounting for nearly 80%.

In recent years, cases of infringement of intellectual property rights have mainly been trademark infringement cases (mainly), which is what we often call the production and sales of counterfeit registered trademark products.

In the case of Gaobeidian, the production and sale of counterfeit wines are all (imitation) of our domestic well-known brands of counterfeit wines, bottled water, auto parts, electronic products, daily chemicals and other products. These are the main intellectual property rights. Some scope of the class.

[Explanation] According to the Beijing police, the high incidence of crimes such as infringement of intellectual property rights has been initially curbed, but their illegal and criminal acts have become more hidden and complicated, showing the characteristics of intertwining online and offline, and cross-regional.

This type of crime also presents such an obvious feature of trans-regional, trans-provincial and municipal crime.

For example, in the cases reported by the Ventilation Conference today, some cases are like the Gaobeidian New Village, a criminal gang whose den is a large gang that manufactures and sells counterfeit wine in places like Beijing, Guizhou, Hubei and other places across provinces and cities.

[Commentary] Xie Wenkui said that in order to achieve a full chain and all-round crackdown on intellectual property crime cases, the Beijing police will also promote the construction of a three-dimensional protection network with administrative departments and industry enterprises in their work.

He also reminded consumers to increase their awareness of the rule of law and choose formal channels, legal merchants or platforms for shopping and consumption.

When buying items, we must purchase through formal channels, legal platforms and shops. During the purchase process, we keep our purchase receipts.

If some counterfeit and inferior products are discovered during the purchase process, we hope that the general public will report to the public security organs as soon as possible.
