Actor Lee Kwang-soo gets off at SBS'Running Man' after 11 years.

On the 27th, the agency King Kong by Starship said, "Lee Kwang-soo will get off at'Running Man' for the last time to record on May 24 (Mon)."

The agency said, "Lee Kwang-soo was constantly undergoing rehabilitation treatment due to injuries caused by accidents last year, but there were areas where it was difficult to maintain the best condition when filming. Therefore, after the accident, after a long discussion with the members, the production crew, and the agency, the body and mind will be rearranged. I decided to take the time," he explained the background of the getting off.

He added, "Because it was a program that was not short of 11 years, it was not easy to decide to get off, but we decided that we need physical time to show better appearances in future activities."

The agency promised, "I sincerely thank you for the much interest and love you have sent to Lee Kwang-soo through'Running Man', and I will greet Lee Kwang-soo with a healthy and bright appearance."

Lee Kwang-soo has been active for 11 years as the first member of'Running Man', which aired for the first time in July 2010. Although he is tall, his poor appearance, pleasant talk, and his behavior of betrayal and contempt made him laugh and received great love. His popularity through'Running Man' extends beyond Korea and across Asia, and has earned the nickname of'Asian Prince'.

Lee Kwang-soo suffered a right ankle fracture in a car accident in February of last year, and after surgery, fell into recording'Running Man' for about two weeks. After returning and running to the present day, due to the aftereffects of the operation, he inevitably said goodbye to'Running Man', who had been working for so long.
